Each patch is waterproof and durable and should be worn continually for 36 hours. Just remove the backing slowly and apply the patch to a clean, dry and hairless area of your body. Try to apply the patch at least two hours before protection is needed against biting insects for maximum effect.

WHAT ARE TRANSDERMAL PATCHES AND HOW DO THEY WORK?

Most drugs are taken orally and dosage intervals may be inconvenient. Some drugs are partly destroyed or neutralized in the stomach, intestine or liver before reaching the bloodstream. Accordingly, a higher dose is needed to ensure effectiveness, which in turn may increase the risk of side effects.
